Too hot for the hot tub

The guy said he was sitting in a lawn chair when a swarm of bees came over head. He said he decided it was time to get out of there and into the house. He watched them land on the side of the hot tub, then they went into the hole for the electrical cord. That is when he called me. We went out the next day and looked at what we had. Hot tubs can be a pain in the rump. The bees can follow the rim and build anywhere. These girls just connected to the top right near the entrance.  The dog kept thinking they were something to eat, he kept snapping at them. He didn’t catch any though. After I scooped the bees into the nuc the rest just followed along.
