Low hanging fruit

The bottom of the bush was about 6 inches off the ground. The bees couldn’t have swarmed in the upper half, no! They had to hang on the lowest branch they could find. I had to lay on my side, put a plastic frame on the ground under them and shake them down. Luckily I got must of them on the first shake. They were calm though all of this. They followed the queen into the nuc and we went home. They are doing well.
